We spent 3 nights and it was pretty sweet as! The beach huts were charming and right on the sand, but the food was a bit overpriced and underwhelming. Breakfast service also had a few hiccups, like missing croissants. Chur to the friendly staff, especially at the egg station!

Location adjacent to the beach during the day and the quiet natural bay and the open sea. The room was reasonably large, breakfast was healthy!

The breakfast was savoury and well presented with omelettes, fresh orange juice, many different options from light meals to omelettes. It had a perfect atmosphere and the location was good.
Had pretty standard breakfast, it might be far better.

Absolutely loved the vibe here! The staff were pure braw, especially Reena—her warm smile made every moment special. The only downside was the basic accommodation, but the beach was amazing, right next to us and filled with beautiful flowers. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

The location in the souk area was particularly good. What's more, it was right by a lovely private beach/bay surrounded by mountains, the marina and the beautiful restaurant overlooking the beach. Truly enjoyed the queen room with minimalist charm, felt like we were home.

Brand-new & neat unit with minimalist charm, a nicely designed outdoor bathroom, as for instance. A stunningly beautiful and unique hotel, my first choice in Muscat.

I encountered several issues that left me disheartened. The cleanliness of my Barasti Beach Hut was disappointing, with dusty surfaces and unfixed furnishings that detracted from the experience. The service was lacking. When I sought assistance, I often found the staff unresponsive or dismissive, which contributed to my overall dissatisfaction.

The beach huts were situated right on the sand, providing easy access to the beach and fine sunset views. The area had a unique vibe, reminiscent of a casual outdoor getaway, perfect for soaking up the sun.
The room was smaller than expected with poor lighting and cleanliness left much to be desired, as surfaces were dusty. An outdoor bathroom might sound enticing, but it missed the mark. The fixtures seemed worn out. We also faced issues with electrical outlets not functioning, and the overall maintenance felt neglected. Plus, the price for drinks and food was quite high, with simple items costing more than anticipated.

Ideal for divers or those seeking tranquility
The private beach was a haven, where I spent time just soaking up the sun, and the unique beach huts gave everything a Robinson Crusoe vibe, but classy. I even tried my hand at some diving, and wow, the fish and rays were fine all around us.
It wasn't exactly cheap, though considering the experience, it felt acceptable.
